Maths Study Plans for Cambridge IGCSE

TutorWick publishes three fixed-length Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics study plans: a 2-month intensive plan, a 6-month complete plan and a 10-month mastery plan. Choose by the time left before the exam, not by budget — the 2-month plan runs 50 sessions at six classes a week, the 6-month plan 75 sessions at three classes a week, and the 10-month plan 87 teaching days at two classes a week. TutorWick's own plan inventory groups the shared coverage into nine units; that inventory is still awaiting verification against the official Cambridge 0580 syllabus. All three include timed mock examinations and are taught one to one online. Hourly rates are identical whichever plan you choose and are listed in full on the pricing page.

Choose a focused teaching timetable by the time remaining before the exam, with a clear weekly commitment and an honest account of what each schedule can achieve.

Choose your plan by the time left before the exam

Plan length is a scheduling decision, not a quality decision. The tutor, planned coverage and hourly rate are the same in all three; what changes is how many classes a week the timetable demands and how many times your child sees each topic before the exam. Work backwards from the exam date, then check that the weekly commitment is one your family can actually keep — a plan abandoned in week three teaches nothing.

  • Under 3 months

    2-Month Intensive Plan

    6 classes a week

One fast, complete second pass over material the student has already met, followed by focused past-paper practice and timed mock examinations.

  • 4–8 months

    6-Month Complete Plan

    3 classes a week

Concepts and fundamentals taught unit by unit, with a steadier weekly load and two revision checkpoints before the final exam-practice phase.

  • A full school year

    10-Month Mastery Plan

    2 classes a week

A full academic-year sequence with regular revision tests and the final two months reserved for past papers and mock examinations.

A workable plan leaves room for school, homework, rest and the occasional disrupted week. Choose the shortest timetable your child can sustain consistently, not the most intensive timetable that looks possible on paper.

What every TutorWick plan includes

Every TutorWick study plan is taught live and one to one — your child is the only student in the class. Each programme follows TutorWick's own teaching inventory, whose nine-unit grouping is still awaiting verification against the official Cambridge 0580 syllabus. Each plan sets homework between lessons, includes topic-wise past-paper practice and finishes with full-length timed mock examinations under exam conditions. Every plan also includes a personalised schedule, recorded lessons and notes, and progress updates for parents. The tutor tier determines the hourly rate, not the plan length, so families can compare the teaching timetable separately from the tutor level they choose.
