Yes, TutorWick lets you switch tutors at any time if the current match is not the right fit for your child. Contact us and we will recommend an alternative tutor and hand over your child’s learning plan and progress notes so nothing is lost in the change.
Are lessons one-to-one?
Yes, every TutorWick lesson is genuinely one-to-one: your child is the only student in the class with their tutor. There is no group teaching or shared class time at any tier, from Standard through to Premium.
Is there a minimum commitment?
TutorWick tutoring carries no fixed minimum commitment, so lessons are billed by the hour rather than locked into a long contract. You can adjust the number of sessions, change tutor tier, or pause lessons at any time by speaking with TutorWick.
How do payments work?
Payments are arranged directly with TutorWick once you choose a tutor tier after your free trial. You confirm by email or WhatsApp, and lessons are billed by the hour at the rate for the Standard, Expert or Premium tier you select.

What happens after the free trial?
Nothing happens automatically after the free trial — there is no obligation to continue and no card details are taken beforehand. If you are happy with the tutor, confirm by email or WhatsApp to start regular one-to-one lessons at the rate for your chosen tutor tier.
Do you provide homework support?
Yes, homework support is included in every TutorWick plan, from Standard through to Premium. Tutors review completed homework, explain mistakes, and set further practice so a student's understanding keeps building between lessons.
Do your prices change based on my child's specific learning requirements?
No — TutorWick's hourly rate depends only on the tutor tier you choose, not on your child's subject, specific learning requirements or exam board. Standard, Expert and Premium each carry a fixed rate from $14 to $35 per hour, whether your child studies Cambridge IGCSE, Pearson Edexcel, AQA GCSE or A Levels.
Do you offer any discounts?
TutorWick has not published a fixed discount scheme, so the most reliable way to find out what is available is to ask the team directly. Raise it during or after your free trial class, and any discount agreed for your child’s plan will be confirmed in writing before the first paid lesson.
